My Experience
I saw this film yesterday and I taught it was great, I was interested straight from the offset and I enjoyed it thouroghly. It's exciting but it has emotional bits too especially at the end which my girlfriend was in floods of tears for.
If your asking if I think you should go see it then the answer is definately yes, you wont regret it.

I just got home after seeing Knowing. DAMN!!! This is one of the best Sci-fi movies I have seen in a long time. I don´t understand all the bad critics. It is not often grown women run out in the middle of the movie crying! Never to return. :) I found it to be a really powerful experience, and I am still in shock.
Don´t listen to the critics, go see it for yourself.
